American Water Works names Rogers as treasurer
VOORHEES, N.J. — American Water Works Co. Inc., a water utility, said on Thursday that it has named William D. Rogers as vice president and treasurer.
Rogers was most recently chief financial officer for NV Energy, a utility in Las Vegas with 1.5 million electric and gas customers. Before that he was managing director of capital markets for Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase.
He replaces James Kalinovich, who left in July to become vice president and treasurer of VWR International LLC.
American Water Works shares rose 3 cents to close at $23.77, after setting a 52-week high of $23.97 earlier in the day.
