Charter Communications board appoints new member
ST. LOUIS — Cable operator Charter Communications Inc. said Tuesday that David C. Merritt has been appointed to its board.
He previously served on Charter’s board since 2003.
Merritt will serve as chair of the board’s audit committee. Christopher M. Temple will join Merritt as a member of the audit committee.
Robert Cohn, W. Lance Conn and Eric L. Zinterhofer were named to the board’s compensation and benefits committee, while the nominating and governance committee will consist of William L. McGrath, John D. Markley Jr., and Bruce A. Karsh.
Charter Communications, the fourth-largest cable operator in the U.S., recently emerged from bankruptcy protection.
