Midwest, Frontier Airlines sign codeshare deal

NEW YORK — Midwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines said Monday they’ve expanded an agreement to sell tickets on each other’s flights, giving their passengers the choice to travel to more destinations.

Under the codeshare deal, Midwest customers can now purchase tickets for travel beginning Feb. 16 on Frontier’s nonstop flights between Kansas City and Denver. Frontier’s customers will be able to travel on eight Midwest destinations out of Kansas City.

Midwest and Frontier customers can book connecting codeshare itineraries through Denver, Kansas City and Milwaukee.

Frontier’s international routes will also be added to the codeshare in the coming months, as will double-connect itineraries. Customers of both airlines will then have full access to Midwest and Frontier route networks.

Midwest and Frontier are both subsidiaries of Republic Airways.
