E.W. Scripps names new audit and compliance VP

CINCINNATI — E.W. Scripps Co., a newspaper and TV station owner, said Wednesday it has promoted Mark L. Koors to vice president of audit and compliance.

Koors, 46, has been with the company for more than a decade, most recently as director of the company’s treasury management.

In his new role he succeeds Mike Hales, who was recently named vice president of finance and administration for the company’s newspaper unit.
