CB&I wins $45 million gas plant contract in Peru
THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Energy infrastructure design firm Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. NV said Wednesday it had won a contract worth more than $45 million to supply a cryogenic natural gas processing plant in Peru.
The contract is with Pluspetrol Peru Corp. SA.
CB&I will be responsible for engineering, procurement and making the modules of a cryogenic unit designed to process 520 million standard cubic feet per day of gas.
The unit is expected to be complete later this year.
Shares rose 17 cents to $21.46 in midday trading Wednesday.
