NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Boeing Co. said Monday that it will make and assemble interior parts in South Carolina for its long-awaited Dreamliner 787 airliner.
The world’s second-largest commercial aircraft maker said it expects to determine by the middle of the summer where it will locate the new plant.

Boeing shares rose $1.80, or 2.5 percent, to $74.23 in afternoon trading.
