Products recalled for salmonella contamination

The following products are being recalled because they could be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children and others with weakened immune systems:
Country Eggs Inc. of Los Angeles is recalling select 15-dozen bulk packages of large AA fresh shell eggs. The recalled eggs were produced by Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa. The FDA and CDC have reported confirmed cases of salmonella illnesses relating to the recalled shell eggs and investigations are ongoing.
