Gasoline prices little changed ahead of weekend
Gasoline prices were flat Wednesday despite an uptick in supply as cautious consumers weigh taking a road trip against the latest worries about the economy.
Oil settled slightly lower.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
Benchmark crude for August delivery fell 31 cents to settle at $75.63 a barrel.
Heating oil fell 3.96 cents to $1.9817 a gallon.
Natural gas added 6.8 cents at $4.616 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Gasoline dropped 1.14 cents to $2.0606 a gallon.
On the ICE futures exchange:
Brent crude fell 43 cents to settle at $75.01 a barrel on the ICE futures exchange.
