IHS predicts rising revenue, earnings for 2010
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — IHS Inc., a provider of energy and security information to governments and large companies, reaffirmed its outlook for the fiscal year Wednesday.
For the fiscal year that will end Nov. 30, IHS expects adjusted earnings of $312 million to $324 million, on $1.04 billion to $1.08 billion in revenue.
That represents an increase in adjusted earnings of 12 percent to 16 percent, and in revenue of 8 percent to 12 percent.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters have forecast lower adjusted earnings of $310.4 million.
Wall Street is looking for IHS to report $1.06 billion in revenue.
