Extreme Networks increases fiscal 4th-qtr revenue outlook, now expects up to $86 million

Extreme Networks lifts 4Q revenue outlook
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Extreme Networks Inc. said Monday that it now expects to report revenue of $84 million to $86 million for its fiscal fourth quarter, up from a previous outlook of $82 million to $85 million.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters have been expecting revenue of $84.6 million, on average.
The Ethernet network equipment maker said it will give its report for the three months ended June 27 after the market close on Monday, Aug. 2.
Shares fell 5 cents to close earlier at $2.59.
