SolarWinds to buy back up to $25 million in shares

AUSTIN — Business software maker SolarWinds Inc. said Monday its board has authorized buying up as much as $25 million worth of its own stock.

The announcement helped send SolarWinds shares up 77 cents, or 5.6 percent, to $14.59 in morning trading. Over the past year, the stock has traded between $12.10 and $24.95.
