Airtel Digital TV Revamp

DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Airtel Digital TV which is the DTH wing of cellular major Bharti Airtel has come up with its unique offer which enables the customers to select the channels of their choice. This is a welcome move considering some of the channels offered in its existing DTH packages may not be liked by some users. The new raters are being made effective from this month. To make things easier for the interested customers the company has provided an online migration provision where the customers can choose specific channels and the channels have been placed under separate categories for the sake of convenience of the customers. The a la carte option requires the customers to pay a minimum of INR 150 per month along with service taxes. The customers can add in the list online and see if the selection meets their budget before making the final choice.
The Airtel DTH customers can also call up the customer care from their registered mobile numbers to know the details of the plan. The CEO and Director of Bharti Airtel DTH services Ajai Puri said about the move “The early introduction of oura la carteofferings enhances choice and convenience for our customers who can now either go in for eithera la carteor choose from our wide range of monthly Base Packs”. As of now Airtel Digital TV has more than 4.9 million users in India and is rated as one of the leading DTH service providers in the country.
Tata Sky was the first DTH service provider in India to offer this flexible channel selection option. Airtel Digital TV has followed its path.
